Margaret R. Laughlin, 91, of the North Side, died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2005, at her residence.
She was born in Pittsburgh on Dec. 24, 1913, to the late Daniel and Maggie Murray Rooney.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Peter's Church, North Side.
She is survived by three sons, Daniel R. Laughlin, of Florida, James F. Laughlin, of the North Side, and Arthur J. Laughlin, of Florida; a daughter, Peggy Laughlin, of the North Side; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Laughlin; a son, John A. Laughlin Jr.; six brothers, Thomas Rooney, Father Silas Rooney, James P. Rooney, John Rooney, Vincent Rooney and Thomas Rooney; and a sister, Marie McGinley.
Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Highway, Ross. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Peter's Church.
Interment in Christ Our Redeemer (North Side Catholic) Cemetery.
