Tyry B. Archer, 90, passed away in his sleep Sunday, January 24, 1999, in Sugar Land, Texas. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 26, 1999, at 11:00 a.m. at Klein Funeral Home Chapel in Tomball. Interment will follow at Memorial Oaks Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. at Klein Funeral Home.
Tyry retired from Mosher Steel Company of Houston, Texas in 1973 after 33 years of service. He was currently a member of Tomball United Methodist Church.
Mr. Archer was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Margaret Lois Archer.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Gladys Smith Archer of Sugar Land, TX; son, Jan T. Archer and wife, Tanya, of Sugar Land, TX; stepsons, Ronald Smith and wife, Elaine, of Naperville, Illinois, Errol Dan Smith and wife, Pat, of Houston, TX, David Smith and wife, Susan, of San Antonio, TX; 10 grandchildren; 1 brother; and 2 sisters.
