ORBISONIA - Gloria Jean Flasher, 62, of Orbisonia, died at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, 2003, in Altoona Hospital.

Born Sept. 1, 1941, in Springfield Township, Huntingdon County, she was a daughter of the late Estle E. and Viola G. Gutshall Anderson.

She was a Methodist.

For the last 15 years, she worked at Woodland Retirement Center, Orbisonia. Previously, she worked for five years at the former Creitz Bologna, Mount Union.

She married Willard "Sonny" Flasher on Dec. 7, 1963, in Saltillo.

In addition to her husband, surviving are two sons, Dennis D. of Orbisonia and Douglas L. of Mapleton two brothers, Roy V. Anderson of Orbisonia and Richard G. Anderson of Three Springs and a sister, LaVerne Anderson of Fort Littleton.

Service will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, Orbisonia, with the Rev. Charles Rhodes officiating. Burial will be in Old School Baptist Cemetery, Three Springs.

Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday and two hours before the service Monday in the funeral home.
