Born in Scottsville, Kentucky on May 8, 1911 to Isaac Newton and Mary Etta (Garmon) Armour.
Thurman retired from Standard Brands in 1976 following 27 years of service. Following his retirement, Mr. Armour worked at Merchandise Warehouse for 13 years. He attended The Church of God of Prophecy.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Beulah Armour; sons: Steven, Danny and Lanny Armour; 8 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2005 at Legacy Funeral Alternatives @ Memorial Park where visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, November 1, 2005.
Burial will be in Washington Park East Cemetery.
