OBITUARY Iron River Reporter Oct 3 1947 "Rites Are Held For John Scott, 67, Woods Worker Here 30 Years"
John Scott, 67, a woodsman in this district for 30 years, was buried yesterday afternoon following services at the Johns chapel.
He was born in Peshtigo in 1880 and came here during War I. In recent years, he resided in a small home at the Hilltop addition of Iron River. Only survivor is a niece residing in Peshtigo. Mr. Scott died at the Iron county hospital in Crystal Falls.
