Robert T. Adams, died suddenly on April 1, 2014. He was born in Boston, son of the late Catherine (Smith) and Gerard Adams and raised his family in Weymouth. More recently, Mr. Adams was a resident of Abington. A veteran, he served in the Navy Seabees. Prior to retirement, Mr. Adams was a United States Postal worker. Beloved husband of Dorothy "Dolly" (Lewis). Devoted father of Robyn Cleaves, David, Stephen, James and Nicholas. Brother of Geraldine Monihan, Marjorie Harrington, Catherine Lynch, the late William Adams, Anne "Nancy" Pizzelli, John Adams, Maureen McIver, James Adams and Alice Willis. He is also survived by 12 cherished grandchildren, many loving nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 5, 2014, at 10 a.m. in St. Francis Xavier Church, Pleasant Street, Weymouth, followed by a reception at 11:30 a.m. in Emerald Hall, 30 Central St., Abington.
