The funeral for LeRoy C. Alfson, 77, Binford, was held there Tuesday in Trinity Lutheran Church. He died Saturday.
Mr. Alfson was born October 16, 1907, at Binford, where he grew up and graduated from high school. He later graduated from Valley City State College. He married Bernice Sharpe August 1, 1937, at Glenfield and he taught school in several North Dakota towns and farmed near Binford during the summer.
He is survived by his wife; three sons and a daughter, Jerry and Rick, both Hillsboro; Loren, Binford; and Mrs. Gary (Beverly) Pearson, Grafton; three sisters, Evelyn Hopley, Devils Lake; Mrs. Glen (Bernice) Broten, Valley City; and Mrs. Russell (Elaine) Anderson, Binford; and 10 grandchildren.
