Addie Mae Wright, 84, of 142 Cap Wright Road, Lawndale, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center in Shelby.
Born September 29, 1929 in Cleveland County she was a daughter of the late Henry Joseph Bingham and Laura Elsie Cosnter Bingham. She was a homemaker and farmer but was an avid gardner. Mrs. Wright was a member of Friendly Chapel Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Raeford Wright; three brothers, Harvey Bingham, Joe Bingham and Walter Bingham; grandson, Dustin Sisk and great-grandson, Alex Walker.
Survivors include two daughters, Patsy Okuszki and husband, Michael and Nancy Elmore and husband, Gary all of Lawndale; two grandchildren and their families, Tonya Walker and husband, David and children Morgan and Jordan and Donnie Sisk and wife, Towana and children, Brooklyn, Noah and Eli; brother, Henry J. Bingham, Jr. and wife, Kay of Lawndale and three sisters, Ann Ramsaur of Lawndale, Shirlene Lewis and husband, Thomas of Fallston and Ellene Lineberger and husband, Frank of Lawndale.
