Our beloved wife and mother passed away on March 12, 2006. Lynda was born in Alexandria, VA on Dec. 14, 1940. She moved to the Tacoma area with her husband and son in 1964. She met countless friends along the way through her involvement with the Spanaway/Elk Plain Fireman's Auxiliary and the Spanaway Lady Lions. She was past President of the WA State Fire Commissioners Ladies Association. Lynda was preceded in death by her parents and most recently Licorice. Survivors include her husband William, son Anthony, daughter Nichole and many in-laws and friends who shall all miss her deeply. Visitation will be Friday, March 17 from 4-7 PM at Fir Lane Funeral Home. Services will be Saturday, March 18 at 10:00 AM at Fir Lane Chapel. Donations may be made in Lynda's name to the Pierce County Humane Society, 2608 Center St., Tacoma, WA 98409.
