FRED D. SMITH SR., 60, of Spring Hill died Tuesday. A native of Tampa, he was a lifelong resident of West Central Florida. He was an automobile mechanic and member of Temple Heights Baptist Church. He is survived by two sons, Fred Jr. of Spring Hill and Thomas Mitchell Smith of Tampa; two daughters; Judy Smith and Betty Sue Iacovino, both of Tampa; three brothers, Paul O., Tommy and Robert L. all of Tampa; two sisters, Sarah Cook and Francis Geddes, both of Tampa; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
