Doug Boisseau, 85, Guthrie, died at 10 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at Gateway Medical Center, Clarksville, of natural causes.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Guthrie Baptist Church, with Stephen Childers officiating.

Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery, Guthrie.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Thursday and from noon until the funeral hour Friday at the Cook-Webb Funeral Home.

A native of Sadlersville, Tenn., hew as born Sept. 17, 1928, the son of the late James and Della Tatum Boisseau.

He was the sheriff in Todd County, a member of Guthrie Baptist Church and of Guthrie Bethel Masonic Lodge F&AM.

Survivors include two sons, Michael (Melanie) Boisseau, Clarksville, and Russ (Donna) Boisseau, Adams, Tenn.; two daughters, Mrs. Ree (Sharon) Oliver, Guthrie, and Mrs. Jerry (Judy) McNelly, Floyds Knobs, Ind.; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
