Samuel Noah Brooks, 78, passed away at his home peacefully on Wednesday, April 2, 2014. He was born on January 31, 1936 in Leslie, Arkansas, to George Willis and Oca Raines Brooks.

He joined the US Air Force in September of 1959. Samuel married Brunhilde Johanna Brooks in 1960 in Germany. Samuel and Hilde lived in California, Germany, Australia, and Utah. Hilde passed away on July 20, 2001.

Samuel worked as an Electronics Engineer for the Aerospace Industry. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Roy. His hobbies included operating a Ham Radio.

Samuel is survived by his daughter, Karen (Jay) Montgomery, Ardsley, New York and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Hilde and son, Peter Brooks.

Interment, Lindquist's Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
