Esther Martin Abbot, daughter of Reuben & Hannah (Abbott) Abbott. [her marriage rec states mother was Mercy but this is incorrect as her grandmother's name was Mercy] She was born 1825, d. 19 Aug 1893, age 68 yrs 10 months 30 days in Penacook (Concord) NH, of pulmonary tuberculosis. [Esther's father Reuben was the only son and youngest of Reuben-2 & Zerviah (Farnum) Abbott, and who was born at the old homestead in West COncord NH 23 Oct 1790. Reuben married 1815 to Hannah Abbot, 2nd daughter and child of Daniel & Mercy (Kilburn) Abbott his 2nd wife. She was born Oct 28, 1791 an dd. 13 Sep 1876 at the age of 85 years.
