Ruby L. Barnes married George W. Hale May 20, 1978 in Clay County, Texas

Ruby Lee Craig Hale, 97, of Wichita Falls, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2014. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harvey McMurry officiating.
Interment will follow in the Court of Flowers section of Crestview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Hale was born September 13, 1916 in Vera, TX to the late Walter Charles Barnes and Mamie (Murphree) Barnes. She moved to Wichita Falls at a young age and was a near lifelong resident here. She married Jim O. Craig in 1934 in Wichita Falls and he preceded her death. She later married George Hale who also preceded her. Ruby was a member of the old Westside Baptist Church in Wichita Falls. She retired from Wichita General Hospital in 1982 where she worked in the Dietary Department for many years. Ruby loved to sing and had a beautiful, gentle loving smile. She loved parties, especially her birthday parties. She loved her family and friends and will be missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, grandchildren, Linda Montanõ and Steven Jim Craig; her daughter-in-law, Judy Hofacket Craig.
Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Jean Tucker of Pagosa Springs, CO; son, Don Craig of Iowa Park; sister, Evelyn Core of Camaillo, CA; brother, Gene Cendroski of Graham, TX; 7 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
