Dorothy "Dottie" Irene Ryan, 82, of Indianapolis passed away on March 29, 2014. She was born on March 7, 1932 in Greencastle, Indiana to Obey and Florence (McWilliams) Acton. She was a hair dresser at Ryan's Hair Care, working for 53 years. She is a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Dottie is survived by her beloved husband Joseph H. Ryan, daughter Maryann (Mike) Massey, sister Beulah Thomas, grandchildren Dallas Ryan, John Ryan and Sammy Massey, 7 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son Joseph Ryan.

Funeral services will be Thursday April 3 at 9:30 am at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Visitation will be Wednesday April 2, from 4 - 8 pm at the mortuary. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
