Mrs. Carrie Alexander -- Frankfort -- Mrs Carrie (Dale)Alexander, 76 of Danville, R. R. 3 died at Clinton County hospital at 8:40 a.m. Tuesday after she broke a hip in a fall Friday. She had been here since the death of her brother William Dale on July 12.

A native of Boone county, she was born near Mechanicsburg Indiana. In 1905 she married John Alexander who died in 1944. She spent most of her life in Boone and Hendricks counties. She was a member of the Avon Methodist church and Order of Eastern Star.

Surviving is a daughter Mrs. Virgil Childress of Danville, IN, R. R. 3. The body is being returned to Danville.

Mrs. Carrie Alexander 76, Danville who fell and broke her hip in a local supermarket (A&P) while visiting friends in Frankfort July 27 died yesterday at 8:50 a.m. in the Clinton county hospital. She was taken by ambulance to the Baker Funeral home in Danville.
