Mrs. W.M. Fender Dead
Pioneer Woman Victim of Long Illness Last Evening
Mrs. W.M. Fender, a resident of Lewiston the past 25 years, died at 7 o'clock last evening at the family residence at 321 Miller Street, following a long illness with cancer.
Mrs. Fender was 50 years of age October 4 having been born in Wisconsin in 1875. When she was two years of age her parents crossed the plains and settle near Moscow and she has resided in this region since.
Mrs. Fender was a woman of many endearing qualities and enjoyed a friendship of a large circle of people in the city who will be grieved to learn of her untimely passing.
Mrs. Fender is survived by her husband, a pioneer of Lewiston, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.M. Kildy pf Clarkston; and two sisters and four brothers being: Mrs. Frank Williams and Mrs. George Vollmer, Lewiston; Gilbert, Clarkston; John, Tekoa; Paul, Wenatchee; and Henry, Troy.
