MARY E. CORBIN
Mary E. Corbin, 73, of 6013 Gregory Lane in West Des Moines died of a heart ailment Wednesday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 1 p.m. today at the Chet Ryan Mortuary in Nevada. Burial will be in Murphy Cemetery near Fernald.
Mrs. Corbin was born in Milan, Mo., and had lived in Nevada before moving to West Des Moines seven years ago. She was a retired employee of Iowa State University and was a member of the Nevada Christian Church and American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include two daughters, Jessie Mathis of Nevada and Alta Mann of Roland; two sons, Herman of West Des Moines and Marion Lee of Davenport; two sisters, Cora Butler of Milan and Lucille Lawsell of Harris, Mo.; a brother, Fred Deeds of Des Moines; 16 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
