Physician Succumbs At Age Of 79, Came To City From Louisville, Ky., 50 Years Ago.
Dr. John T. Spicknall, a resident of East Baltimore for fifty years, died at his home last night, 101 South Patterson Park avenue, after a short illness, He was 79 years old.
Born in Louisville, Ky., Dr. Spicknall came to Baltimore after graduating from Louisville Medical College. He retired from active practice six years ago.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Bernhardina Bunnecke Spicknall, and by three daughters, Mrs. Ellinore N. Spicknall, Mrs. William H. Martin and Mrs. J. W. Knighton, and two sons, Thomas W. Spicknall and the Rev. J. Turnbull Spicknall, by a former marriage. Five grandchildren also survive.
The funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. R. H. Bartlett at the home. Burial will be in Loudon Park Cemetery. The date of the funeral has not yet been set."
