Lucy R. Martin was the (3rd) child of Joseph Henry Martin and Lucinda Hogan. William and Lucy Martin Yowell were married December 18, 1892, in Sebastian County, Illinois. In the 1910 US census, their nephew, John L. Eartherly, was living in their household. Apparently, John was raised (adopted?) by William and Lucy and assumed the Yowell last name. John is buried in the same cemetery.
