G. W. Garlitz Dead
Seized with a stroke of paralysis, George W. Garlitz, 66 years old, residing at 17 Arch St., died suddenly about 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon. Mr. Garlitz was assisting his two sons, Harvey and Ira Garlitz, at their grocery store, corner First Street and Grand Street. He had started down the cellar stairway when he was stricken and fell to the ground a distance of several feet. Dr. George L. Broadrup was summoned and pronounced death due to paralysis. Besides his wife, he is survived by the following children: Mrs. Clarence Chaney of Frostburg; Mrs. Thomas Wilhelm of Oakmont, W. Va; Mrs. Veindetta Crozier of Ontario, Canada; Miss Armina Garlitz of Detroit, Mich., and Harvey, Ira, Enzer and Miss Thelma Garlitz, at home. Funeral arrangements have not yet been made.

Services at St. Mary s Catholic Church and burial in St. Patrick s Cemetery.
