Joe; a resident of Albuquerque since July 1998 and born in Las Vegas, New Mexico; passed away in Albuquerque. He was predeceased by his parents Pablo Valdez and Adelaida Roybal Valdez.

Joe was survived by his wife Christina G. Valdez of the family home in Albuquerque; two daughters: Vera Jo Lujan (husband Joe) of Las Vegas, New Mexico and Mary Romero (husband LeRoy) of Farmington; and numerous other relatives.

Rosary and devotional services were at the Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas. Funeral services were at the same church. Interment followed in the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
