Jill Marie Carboni was the second of two Marist College students that passed away,within two weeks of one another. The first was Caitlyn Ann Boyle and now we remember and celebrate Jill as well.
"What an extraordinary life she has led for 21 years," her aunt said. "When I think of Jill, I think of sweetness, kindness, caring and compassion."
Another passion was boyfriend Dominic Farrell of Mendon, Nargi-Brown said. "Dominic told me he started checking her out in kindergarten," she said. "They were friends..then he convinced her to go to junior prom 'as friends' and then their love grew."
As the service ended, friends and family were encouraged to leave their thumbprint on a poster board in remembrance of games that Jill played with her friends. Once she had her friends trace their feet and hands and had eachother guess who was who. The thumbprints insure that Jills playful nature will never cease.

Principal celebrant was the Rev. Thomas Mahoney, pastor. Concelebrant was the Rev. Richard LaMorte of Marist College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
Eucharistic ministers were Christine Hoyman and Paulette Lawrence.
The altar server was Casey Campbell.
The organist was Virginia Montani. The soloist was Charlotte Grillo-Manna
The funeral pall was placed on the casket by her father, Alfred Carboni; her stepsister, Meghan Cormier; her stepbrother, Jason Cormier, and her close friends from Nipmuc Regional High School, Gretchen Lutert, Lauren Siple, Cara Campbell and Jennie Portanova.
Lectors were her aunt, Linda Johnson, and her uncle, William Walker.
Gift bearers were her cousins, Jeffrey Carboni, Jessica Carboni, Katie Johnson and Steve Johnson.
At the conclusion of Holy Communion, songs of reflection were sung by the Rev. Derrick Frye, pastor of the MetroWest Worship Center in Ashland, accompanied on the electric piano by Rodrigo DeJesus.
A prayer of thanksgiving was then read by her sister, Melissa Carboni, and her longtime friend, Dominic Farrell.
Words of remembrance were offered by Amy and Val, fellow classmates at Marist College, followed by words of love and remembrance by her aunt, Debbie Nargi-Brown. Her mother, Cheryl Cormier, offered final thoughts of love and remembrance by reading the book, "The Next Place," authored by Warren Hanson.
Her uncles, Richard Johnson and William Walker, served as casket bearers.
Burial followed in Swan Dale Cemetery with committal prayers offered by the Rev. Mahoney and the Rev. LaMorte.
There was a delegation present representing Marist College, consisting of Dr. Dennis J. Murray, president of Marist College, and Timmiam C. Massie, chief public affairs officer at Marist College. Miss Carboni, 21, of Hopedale, died Sunday, Nov. 27, 2005, as a result of injuries suffered in an automobile accident in Milan, N.Y.
