He was a member of the Masons and worked at Ruan Transportation Systems in Memphis, TN as a mechanic. He later returned to Portageville and drove a truck for local farmers.
He leaves to cherish his memories a son, Gary (Tracie) Rinehart of New Madrid, MO, four daughters: Tammy Gulledge and Donna (Mike) Nowell both of Portageville, MO, Angela Rinehart of Sikeston, MO and Crystal (Rick) Apple of Germantown, TN; three brothers: J.E. Rinehart of Hanford, CA, Gerry Rinehart of Dexter, MO and Max Rinehart of Bloomfield, MO; four sisters: Cora Kunale of Bloomfield, MO, Lillie Denny of Bloomfield, MO and Sadie Barber and Sula Alcorn both of West Plains, MO, 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and a host of many other relatives and friends.
