Edna G. Ludwig, age 96, formerly of Bellingham, passed away Thurs., Oct. 4, 2001, in Des Moines, WA. She was born June 2, 1905, in Berthoud, CO to Ephriam and Louisa (Brown) Green and had been a resident of the Masonic Retirement Center in Des Moines for the past 8 years. She married Joseph Ludwig in Bellingham in 1937 and he preceded her in death in 1991. Mrs. Ludwig was a past Matron of Maple Leaf Chapter #58 in Bellingham, past Grand Royal Matron of the Order of the Amaranth, past Mother Advisor of the Rainbow Girls and past Matron of Nooksack Chapter #171 of Eastern Star.
Survived by her daughter, Myrna Miller & husband Donald of Edmonds grandchildren, Bryan Miller and Bob Miller of Edmonds, Nancy Frenette of Denver, CO, Patty Ferguson of Ephrata and Bruce Wallin of Denver and 14 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Fri., Oct. 12, 11 am in Greenacres Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Greenacres Memorial Park. Pastor Al Currier will be officiating.
