Lena (Lennie) Masters, age 95, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Leonard and Dollie Ledford Gouge and the wife of the late Ralph Masters who passed away in 1988. Her sister, Nora Garland, and brothers: Willard, Edmond, Fred, Jess, Howard, Sam, L.G. and Claude Gouge also preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a member of Deyton Bend Methodist Church.
Survivors include her son, Hal Young and wife Faye of Green Mtn; grandchildren: Jeff Young (Pam), Ricky Hyder (Lynn), Randy Hyder (Janet), Ronald Hyder (Sarah) and Rosaland Ollis; also four great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Sunday, March 30, 2014 in the chapel of Henline-Hughes Funeral Home followed by the eulogy with Tony Norris officiating. Burial will be 11:00 am Monday, March 31, 2014 in the Masters Cemetery on Bee Branch Road.
