Greg grew up in Holdrege, Nebraska, where he graduated from Holdrege (NE.) High School in 1984. In 1988, he graduated from The University of Nebraska at Kearney, Nebraska with a Biology Degree. Then, he graduated from Hays Medical Technology program in Hays, Kansas. He went into the ROTC Program with the U.S. Army during his college years and continued in the Reserves for 20 years, retiring as a Major in 2009. He was deployed overseas in Kosovo, Afghanistan, and Qatar during his military career. Greg moved to Wenatchee, Wahington in 2003, where he was employed at Central Washington Hospital as a Medical Technologist. On June 23, 2006, he married Jolanta Hrynacz in Wenatchee, Wahington. Greg lived his life to the fullest and was blessed with meeting his soul mate, Jolanta and four amazing children. He loved the outdoors, skiing, biking, boating and spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by: father, Kenneth Koepke; step-father, Roland Oberg; grandparents, Jim and Ann Pickett and an aunt.
Mass of Christian Burial was held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2014, at Holy Apostles Catholic Church, East Wenatchee, Washington.
Burial was held in Stamford Cemetery, Stamford, Nebraska.
