Mary N DeLozier was a daughter of Edward Henry DeLozier and Frances Sarah Dyer, born in Tennessee in 1822..The DeLozier Family history is well recorded and was kept up to date by Mary Sloan Hall whom is a direct cousin, until her passing..One of the ministers whom spoke at the DeLozier reunion of 1938 in Weaubleau, Missouri was a grandson of Mary DeLoziers..Mr Reverend George Wyatt spoke at that reunion of 1938, coming all the way from Ohio, and updated his immediate family to our historian, Mary Sloan Hall..Mary DeLozier could not have given birth to a Mary Ann Wyatt that was supposed to be a wife of Richard Tuck, she was but 11 years old when Mary Ann Wyatt was born..I have all the family history to establish this statement to fact...The person/persons whom has Mary DeLozier born in 1811 are in error...We expect that memorial to be taken down at once..Mary DeLozier lived on land belonging to Edward Henry DeLozier during her adult life....No plantations down here in St. Clair county, just poor ole dirt farmers that worked from daylight till after dark trying to feed their families...*****As with many families records of the late 1700's and into the 1800's, much was recorded in family bibles and handed down thru the generations, yes - mistakes are made - errors in the first accountings, stuff happens..In the event you do not have certified documentation to prove your edits, please leave the edit button alone..You might have an opinion, that is respected, and I have mine, as well...After the mid 1850's, we can find no evidence of Mary DeLozier, and we think she might of died with flu or other disease in that time frame..
