William died at the Eunice Smith Extended Care Unit of Alton Memorial Hospital. At the time of his death, he was 68 years, 5 months and 9 days old.
He was survived by his wife, Elizabeth; 2 sons, Bill Senger and Bob Senger, both of Jerseyville, Illinois; 1 daughter, Betty Narup of Edwardsville, Illinois; 5 grandchildren; and 1 brother, Philip Senger of Davenport, Iowa.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, William.
Visitation was held on 30 Mar 1971 at Jacoby Brothers Funeral Home in Jerseyville. A rosary was recited there at 8 p.m. the following evening. A funeral Mass was conducted at 10 a.m. on the morning of 01 Apr 1971 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Grafton.
William's wife, Elizabeth, passed away in 1972 and was buried next to him.
