Sarah's maiden name is unknown at this time. Her first marriage was to a Robertson (Robinson?). She married 2nd 7/18/1849 in Bienville Parish to Isaac Alden.

In a deed dated 1/24/1868, she gave land to her grandchildren, Richard Elmore Robinson (Robertson?) and Rufus Rinaldo Robinson (Robertson?), sons of David Robinson (Robertson?), already deceased. Also mentioned in the deed is a Jesse H. Robinson (signed his name as Jesse H. Robertson), her husband Isaac Alden, and witnessed by Joe Gray and J. M. Culverhouse, who was the 3rd husband of Laurella, whose first marriage was to Joshua Alden, nephew of Isaac.

She is listed in the 1870 census living with John Roberson (35), Richard Roberson (18), Rufer Roberson (16), Mary Roberson (15), and two kids, one listed as Cullverhouse (5) and the other as Jerry Cullverhouse (3). These Culverhouse children are Jerry Mirah Culverhouse and Josiah Uriah Culverhouse.

She died between the 1870 and 1880 censuses.

It is believed she is buried here on the old Alden land.
