Charles Felix
Charles Felix of 607 E. 8th St. died this morning at 7 in Park Avenue Hospital. Mr. Felix was born Dec. 27, 1877, in Lafayette, Ind. A veteran of military service in the Spanish-American War, the Philippine Insurrection and World War I, he served from 1899 until his retirement in 1928. Retiring at that time at Fort MacArthur, he lived in Long Beach until 1930 when he moved to Pomona. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2018 here.
He is survived by a niece, Mrs. Mary Buelow of Cape Girardeau, Mo. and a cousin, Avis N. Pugh of Wichita, Kan.
Funeral arrangements are being made by Todd Memorial Chapel.

Funeral services for Charles Felix of 607 E. 8th St. will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3 in Todd Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Frederick M. Crane, assistant rector of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, will officiate. Entombment will be made in Pomona Mausoleum by the side of his wife, Mrs. Emma Felix, who died in 1962.
