A. Frank Curnutte, age 84, of Columbus, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was born April 17, 1925 in Columbus, Oh., son of the late Hensley and Anna (Schafer) Curnutte. Frank retired from The Borden Company as a sales manager after over 35 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Della Del Matto Curnutte in 2003, son Randy Harper, brother Monroe Curnutte and sister Helen Gary. Frank is survived by his son, Jerry (Phyllis) Harper; granddaughters, Rene (Neal) Forshey and Tamara (Jeffrey) Slater; grandson, Timothy (Michele) Harper; ten great- grandchildren; sisters, Ruth (Wayne) Jones and Carole Peiter; other relatives and friends. Veteran WW II U.S. Navy serving in the Pacific Theatre on the aircraft carrier USS Yorktown. Family will receive friends 11 a.m.-12Noon Thursday, October 22, 2009 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road. Entombment will be held 12:30 p.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association of Central Ohio, 3380 Tremont Road, Columbus, Oh. 43221, in his memory. "|
