Mrs. Nora Adamson late wife of Tom Adamson, a well-known miner on the Penurdin was laid to rest yesterday afternoon on Evergreen cemetery. The funeral services was held at 2 o'clock at the family residence 525 East twelfth street where many friends gathered to pay their last tribute to Mrs. Adamson. Samuel Thomas contributed to the solemn service over the ..................by her family as she was apparently holding her own against the sickness and came as a shock to her wide circle of friends here.
Mrs. Adamson was formerly Miss Nora Richardson of Creede Colorado. She became the wife of Mr. Adamson at that city nine years ago. For the past nine years with exceptions of a short time spent at Creede they has made their home here and had made many friends.
The husband and two little children, Goldie, age 3 years, and Dorothy a baby of 17 months survive Mrs. Adamson here. Two sisters Miss Minnie Richardson of Denver, Mrs. Lena Whitted of Creede and a brother Arthur Richardson of Platteville, Colorado, arrived from their homes to attend the last sad rites. Mrs. Daniel McEachern of Leadville is a sister of Mr. Adamson.
The pallbearers who were all old friends of Mr. and Mrs. Adamson were George Murray, John Crowell, Alex Morrison, Pat Dooley, Albin Erickson and Cal Craven (Carbonate Chronicle March 08, 1920)
