Elinor Jean Dollenger, 95, of Westminster, died Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at North Pines Assisted Living in Manchester.

Born January 20, 1919 in Collinsville, IL, she was the daughter of the late John T. and Barbara C. Sapp Cullom. She was the wife of 57 years to the late Louis Adam Dollenger, Jr. who died September 18, 2004.

She was a Registered Nurse, having worked for Western Maryland College, Carroll County General Hospital and various other hospitals. She was a Captain in the Army Nurse Corps during World War II, serving in England and France.

She was a member of Grace Fellowship Chapel. She was a member of the Army Nurse Corps Association. She was proud to serve her country and especially enjoyed being a mother and grandmother.

Surviving is son Louis Adam Dollenger, III of Reisterstown; daughter and son-in-law Barbara Lynn and Reid B. Sprague of Solomons and daughter and son-in-law Robin Cullom and Dr. Peter G. Uggowitzer of Hampstead; brother Glen M. Cullom of Mt. Olive, IL; grandchildren Sara Beth Smith, Shawn Adam Sprague, Derek Adam Dollenger, Kevin Adam and Zachary Cullom Uggowitzer; and great grandchildren Annabel and Nate Smith. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by siblings Maudethel Cullom, John T. Cullom, Jr and Lt. Col. Barbara M. Cullom and grandson Daniel Stephen Uggowitzer.

Interment with military honors will be at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
