CHARLES ROBERTS
DIES AT HOME

Sunday night Charles Roberts, local attorney, died at 11 a.m., following a short illness.
Mr. Roberts was 56 year of age. He was a graduate of L.S.U. in 1900. He was had a very active career filled with notable events.
The funeral services were conducted from the family residence at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday with Rev. R.H. Wynn officiating along with Rev. W.R. Harvill, presiding elder.
Pallbearers were: Dr. N.T. Woodard, Dr. W.G. Banks, LeRoy Rathbun, R.A. Baker, W.C. Mckinney, W.M. Lowe, and Mayor H.L. Bridges.
Surviving Mr. Roberts are: his widow and four brothers, Horace Roberts, of Ruston, Dr. Frank Roberts of Ruston, Judge Robert Roberts of Shreveport and Claud Roberts of Calhoun.
