Milton was born in Midway, Hill County, Texas, to the late Marvin T. and Ida Ferrell Frank. He attended school in Hillsboro, where he met and married his high school sweetheart, Lynda Anderson, on Aug. 24, 1957. An accomplished trumpeter, he had joined the U.S. Air Force the previous April and served in the Air Force Band for four years. He worked at General Motors Service Parts Operation in Dallas and Everman for 30 years, retiring Dec. 31, 1999. He loved to play the piano at church and at home and wrote many beautiful inspirational songs. A dedicated scholar of the Bible, he taught Sunday school classes almost all of his life, including the last five years at Central Baptist church.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Cecil Frank and Gilbert Frank; and sister, Elouise Thomas.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Lynda Frank, of Hillsboro; daughter, Cheryl Teel and husband, Paul, of Bryan; son, Mark D. Frank and wife, Michele, of Whitney; sisters, Ila Mae Daniel, of Waxahachie, Lila Bell Bratcher, of Hillsboro and Carolyn Benton, of Fort Worth; many nieces and nephews and a host of good friends.
