He married Adele Mary Toshalis in 1957, Marvin was a member of St. Johns Episcopal Church, former member of Midland Lions, Midland Cancer Center, lif member of Midland Centre Lodge #273, F&AM and the American Legion. He and Adele were in several bridge groups and were active in the Midland Senior Center also serving as travel escorts. He loved hunting, fishing and camping, and always had a large garden of flowers and vegetables. He was active in choirs and other singing groups, and served on the board of directors of the Midland Community concerts for 27 years.
In addition to his wife, Adele, he was survived by his daughter, Ludinda Ann Kubitz of Plymouth, and son, Thomas M Kubitz and wife Sharon, and their children, Joshua, Thomas and Trisha Marie, all of Midland. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Leona, and two brothers, Harold and Franklin E.. He is survived by family in the Toledo area, including his sister-in-law, Pauline Kubitz, cousin, Dorothy Delker and several nieces and nephews.
In accordance with Marvin's wishes, cremation has taken place, and a memorial service as at St. John's Episcopal Church, Midland, Rev Bruce McNab and the Rev Joan McNab officiated.
