James Edward Forshee passed away on March 23, 2014 from causes incident to old age.

He was born on June 28, 1919 in Thawville, Illinois to Winfield Kennett and Rosa Ella Warden Forshee. He was the second of three sons. His parents moved to Provo, Utah when he was a small boy and he was raised in Provo, attending several grade schools and graduated from Provo high School.

He worked at Geneva Steel, and as an auto mechanic for many years.

In 1965, he started working for Tooele Army Depot as a civilian tank mechanic.

He retired from TAD in 1982 at the age of 63.

He married Annie Beatrice Fox on June 30, 1942 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, having joined the LDS Church while in high school.

He served in several bishoprics as ward secretary, and also served as a home teacher and a high priest and member of the 70's quorum during his lifetime.

Edward is survived by his wife, Annie; their daughter, Pamela Forshee Campbell Hakey of St. George, Utah; his brother, Kenneth (Maxine) Forshee; his grandsons: Scott (Yvonne) Campbell, Colin (JiaJia) Campbell, Brendan (Brea) Campbell, Derek (Kendra) Campbell and Kevin (Brooke) Campbell; great-grandchildren: Braden and Brynlen Campbell, Rowena and Ethan Campbell, Eliza Wright, Murren, Faith and Sebastian Campbell, and Megan, Joshua and Benjamin Campbell.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his older brother, Loy.
