Kenneth Edward Harvey; "Ken" or "Harv".

Kenneth Edward Harvey passed away March 20, 2014 at his home.

Ken was born January 25, 1935 in Murray, UT to Elida Erickson and Edward Harrison Harvey. He attended Bonnyview School and Murray High. He married Patricia Welch July 29, 1954, they have four children; Steve Harvey (Becky), Kenna Davidson (Roger), Norman Harvey, and Melinda Grange (Richard).

He went to work at Norman Motors in Murray as a teenager, then to Hayes Bro's Buick in 1954. In 1964 he trained to be a body & fender technician where he retired after 43 years. He enjoyed "jeeping", fishing, camping trips with his family and friends. He also built a jeep in his backyard.

He is survived by his wife, children and their spouses, 8 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren, brothers; Robert Harvey (Mary) and Verle Harvey (Lucille) and other close family members.

Preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ethel Mary Harvey and one grandson, Kyle Grange.

Graveside services will be on Wed., March 26, 2014 , 12:00 p.m. at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South, West Valley City, UT. A visitation will be held prior at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, Murray, UT from 10:00-11:30 a.m. Online condolences at www.jenkins-soffe.com.
