Edwin Joseph Doemer was the second child, and second son of Anthony Doemer and Mary Anna Doemer (Merz). Along with the rest of his family, he helped run the Candy Store/Ice Cream Shop that Anthony started around 1905 at 1061 Michigan Avenue, Detroit Michigan. After the death of his father in 1924, and after the death of his brother Anthony in 1928, Edwin and his two brothers Raymond, and Elmer started "Doemer Brother's" which was a Bar/Cafe just down the street from the Candy Store at 1254 Michigan Avenue. Edwin never married, nor had any children.
