Gerald Dean "Jerry" Steiner 77, of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Thursday March 20, 2014 at his home in St. Joseph. Jerry was born October 17, 1936 in Maysville, Missouri son of & Earl and Gertrude (Lowry) Steiner. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Richard (Lois) Steiner, sister, Mildred (Jim) Neal and son-in-law, Bruce Bishop. Jerry is survived by Mary (Griffey), of the home, son, Stephen (Debbie) Steiner, Sr., daughters, Sherri (Randy) Rock, Sheila (Reed) Maynard, and Stacy Bishop. Grandchildren, Stephen (Lindsee) Steiner, Jr., Brett (Ella) Steiner, Sr., Jeremy (Sara) Rock, Jacob Rock, Sarah Boyer (Joel), Sarah and Amy Maynard, Josh Bishop (Rachel Gabriel), Jason (Katie) Bishop. Great grandchildren, Ethan, Collin and Lukus Steiner, Brett, Jr., Kasey and Chance Steiner, Landon and Evelyn Rock, Tucker Bishop. Brother, Larry (Sue) Steiner, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
