John Carl Boley, 69, of Scottsdale, Arizona, died on March 18, 2014 of metatstatic melanoma. He was born in Kansas City, Missouri on April 1, 1944. He was the son of Bennie T. and Olive C. (Reece) Boley. He grew up in Stanberry, Missouri where he went to school and helped on the family farm. He graduated from Stanberry High School and then Northwest Missouri State University with a degree in chemical engineering. He married in 1965. He and his wife lived and worked in Kansas City and Springfield, Missouri and Springfield, Illinois, finally settling in Scottsdale, Arizona in 1977. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of nearly fifty years, daughter, son, granddaughter, two grandsons, and two sisters. Funeral: March 26, 2014 at Messinger Indian School Chapel, 7601 Indian School Road, Scottsdale, Arizona.
