JOHN DOWLING KILLED
BY FAL (sic) FROM TRAIN

Chadron, Neb., Aug. 25--(Special)-- The funeral of John Dowling, who died at Rapid City, S. D., from injuries received by being crushed when falling from a train, was held at St. Patrick's church yesterday. Rev. Father Doland celebrated high mass. He was married just six weeks ago to Miss Nora Lockler. Both were of Dawes county, born and bred. A host of relatives are left, but the aged father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Dowling, whose other son was killed two years ago, are completely broken down.
