Mrs. Edna Lucille Jackson Marshall, age 89, of Forsyth, formerly of Concord, passed away March 16, 2014 at Heritage Healthcare in Forsyth. She was born in Macon, daughter of the late Horace Jackson and Minnie Cranford Jackson. She worked for American Throwing Company in Griffin for many years, was a long-time member of Concord Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening and reading her Bible. In her later years, she attended Emory's Chapel in Thomaston. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Buford Lee Silver and Byron Webster Marshall, two sons, Lonnie Silver and Steven Marshall, a sister, Annie Jackson Swails, a brother, Horace Jefferson (Skinny) Jackson, and three great-grandchildren


She is survived by her children and their spouses: Alton and Carol Silver of Forsyth and Laverne and Rod Crank of Griffin; 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 23, at 3 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home with Rev. David Dawson officiating. Friends may visit the family on Sunday from 2-3 p.m. at the funeral home.
