Troyce was a graduate of Smithville High School. She worked several years at RCA before it closed and held several other jobs over the years. She was an Artist, teaching art classes from her home and volunteering to teach at Stonebridge Health Center in Bedford. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Troyce is survived by her three children Scott Smith and wife Kim of Heltonville, IN, Steve Smith and wife Anita of Bloomington, IN and Kristy Hanson of Ellettsville, IN; one sister Sharon Sowder and husband Keith of Greenville, SC; one brother Bernie Crum and wife Janice of Park Hills, MO; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her two Japanese Chins, Libby and Gabby who she adored.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Carl "Eddie" Smith, and her sister Delores "Dee" Helms.
