PRATT, SAMMY CARL - age 83 of Knoxville departed this life on Thursday, March 20, 2014, after a short illness. He was a member of Bright Hope Lodge #557 F&AM for 50 years. He was also a member of the Scottish Rites and the Kerbella Temple.

Preceded in death by his wife, Pauline "Polly" Perkins Pratt; parents, Charles L. Pratt and Opal Nelson Pratt; sisters, Thelma Soloman, Wilma Dewine; brothers, "Bill" Pratt, C.L. Pratt, and Richard Pratt.

The family will receive friends 1:00-2:00 PM Saturday, March 22, 2014, at Bridges Funeral Home with a Masonic service conducted by the Bright Hope Lodge at 2:00 PM and the funeral service to follow with Rev. Oliver Wolfenbarger officiating. After the service, family and friends will go in procession to Greenwood Cemetery for the interment with military honors provided by Volunteer State Honor Guard.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kerbela Shrine Temple, 315 Mimosa Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37920, or the Alzheimer's Association , 2270 Sutherland Ave, Ste. 202, Knoxville, TN 37919. Arrangements by Bridges Funeral Home, 5430 Rutledge Pike, Knoxville, Tennessee.
