•Mrs. Purcell, wife of Mr. Samuel Purcell, of the East End, died Friday night of pneumonia fever and was buried Saturday in the family burying ground in Rockcastle county. She was about 48 years of age, and was the daughter of Mr. Jeff Coffey, of Rockcastle. She leaves a husband to mourn her loss.
•Preachersville-Mrs. Tilda Purcell died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Garrison, last Friday, and was taken to Rockcastle for burial.
•Broadhead-Mrs. Sam Purcell, of Crab Orchard, died last week of measles and pneumonia. The deceased was a daughter of Jeff Coffey, of this county and the wife of Sam Purcell, brother of Joe and John Purcell, of this neighborhood.
