June Farr Anderson returned to his Heavenly Father on March 19, 2014.

He was born December 10, 1928 in Morhland, Utah to John Leslie and Ruth Ada Gardner.

He attended school in Huntington, Utah, where he played the saxophone in the school band. After completing school, he proudly served in the United States Marine Corps.

He married Fonta Tatton on August 5, 1950 in Clawson, Utah. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, horses, and woodworking. He also held many positions in the LDS Church.

Survivors include his wife; children, Lynn (Joan), Scott F. (Debbie), Carla (Beto), Phillip (Kate), and Lee (Shelly); fifty-nine grandchildren; brother, Phillip (Rayona); sisters, Mary Lou (Hunter), Cleo (Eugene), and Leila (Richard); and sister-in-law, Mary Lue. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Kenneth L.; sisters, Larue and Dora; and granddaughters, Briley and Melissa.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 24, 2014 in the Hunter Twenty-Third Ward Chapel, 3665 South 6000 West, West Valley City. Viewings will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 23, 2014 at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road (1700 West), Taylorsville, and one hour prior to the services at the church.
Interment will be in the Orangeville, Utah Cemetery.
