WANNA SOLVE A MYSTERY?...need someone who have access at Midland City library for possible obituaries, city directory, etc.!

At this time NO confirmations that Charles and Hannah FEENEY are buried at this location. Because there are NO headstones. NO records. NO 'paper' trails.

In 1970's the director of the oldest funeral home had information that Mr. Charles W. FEENEY had purchased five lots when his wife Hannah/Annah died @1888. The family plot is located at Section 1, Lot 103, Grave 1-5. The funeral home director mentioned that the three lots are currently used. But he had no records of 'who' are buried in this lot.

In 2005 I've sent requests for death certificates for Charles W. FEENEY and Charles W. FINNEY. Both were denied or unavailable. Their surname is a challenge. It may be spelled as TINNEY, PHENNEY, FINNE, KINNEY, etc.

The FINNEY family is listed in the 1880 U.S. Federal Census in Midland, MI. Charles, Hannah and their daughter Anna moved from Jonesboro, ME. Their son, Charles W. Feeney was born on 18 May 1883 here. I've requested for a birth certificate for Charles W. FEENEY. It was denied or unavailable. There are four generations of 'Charles W. FEENEY'!!

Mr. Feeney worked as a lumberman and died @1890. His children, Anna and Charles, became orphaned. I have no idea where they've been. They were not found until Anna was listed in the 1905 New York State Census. She had became a nurse and her brother Charles was living with her.

Another question: Who is the 'third' person buried with their parents? Maybe another child? Perhaps the local library will have the answers! I need confirmations!
