Mary C. Taylor, age 96, of Manassas Park died Thursday, Dec. 8, 2005, at Potomac Hospital in Woodbridge. She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy L. Taylor. Ms. Taylor was born May 19, 1909, in White Top. She is the daughter of the late Wiley and Maudie Lewis Perry. Ms. Taylor was a member of the Pocahontas Baptist Church, Pocahontas, prior to her move to Manassas Park, where she became a Charter Member of the Loch Lomond Baptist Church. Ms. Taylor had been struggling with a heart condition for several years. Survivors include three children, Greta Raines and husband James of Auburn, Ala., Evelyn Harrison and husband James of Woodbridge, Thomas Taylor and wife Joan; and dear friend, Goldie Barrett of Manassas Park. Six grandchildren, Jon, Robbie, Danny, Leigh, Jennifer and Jessica and 10 great-grandchildren, Taylor, Jonathan, Bailey, James, Danielle, Sara, Traci, Carl, Joey and Justin. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 12, at Loch Lomond Baptist Church, 9325 Mace Street, Manassas, where funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. with Reverend Mark Hornsby officiating. A second service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, at Pocahontas Baptist Church, Pocahontas. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Gardens, Tazewell.
